Lenovo Z5 review: average modern smartphone
Before the presentation of the new Lenovo Z5, company representatives fueled interest with enticing photos and videos. They convinced us that the smartphone will be almost a bestseller, with a completely frameless screen and 4TB internal memory. But after the first sales of new items, there were disappointed with average functions and the ubiquitous "eyebrow".
However, despite unjustified expectations, Z5 is worthy of attention. Stunning looks, good cameras, a powerful processor and a price below $200 (12,500 rubles) make Lenovo Z5 the main competitor of the flagship Redmi Note 5.

At present, almost all smartphone manufacturers pay special attention to the presence of an iPhone-like eyebrow on their gadgets. Z5 is no exception.
Lenovo Z5 is a stylish smartphone equipped with a 6.2-inch screen with DCI-P3 wide color gamut. However, the eyebrow here is much narrower than on other devices in the same price range. According to official data, its width is 26.17 mm.
The bottom bezel of the phone is 7.69mm wide, which is slightly narrower than that of Xiaomi Mi 8. The back panel uses a 2.5D protective glass with three color options: black, blue and aurora. The side bezels here are 3.7 mm wide, which is comparable to Redmi, Charm Blue and Honor phones.
The front and back panels of the Z5 use Corning Gorilla Glass. The surface of the case is smooth and bright, however, it easily collects fingerprints. The body frame is metal and slightly curved. Due to its small size, the phone fits comfortably in the hand.
On the top of the smartphone, we will find two antenna lines and a noise-canceling microphone. On the bottom, there is one stereo speaker, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a microphone and a USB Type-C connector (with OTG support).

Lenovo Z5 phone is equipped with Snapdragon 636 processor, which is also installed on Meizu E3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphones. This is the initial version of the popular Snapdragon 660.
